36 Days of Type
36 Days of Type is a yearly design challenge hosted by the Treintayseis design studio. The challenge invites designers, illustrators, and visual artists to create their own unique spin on the Latin alphabet in addition to the numbers 0 through 9. For this project, my goal was to create playful and educational designs transforming fruits and vegetables into the shapes of letterforms, complete with cartoon googly eyes.
Each character in my series represents a fruit or vegetable, imaginatively transformed into a letter or number. The quirky addition of googly eyes adds a whimsical element, making the designs engaging and fun especially for educational purposes or as decorative art in spaces for children. This series not only showcases my skills in graphic design and character creation but also highlights my ability to infuse fun into functional, educational content.
